Artisan Bread Baker (full-time or part-time)

Seeking a self-motivated full-time baker who has experience working in a high-volume commercial kitchen. The ideal candidate will be team oriented, have a passion for baking handcrafted bread, and will be eager to learn more!

Responsibilities include:

  • Reading and following recipes to accurately measure and mix ingredients

  • Using weight measurement equipment accurately and consistently for the precise scaling of dough

  • Shaping and baking bread doughs, cookies, pies, pastries, and confections

  • Adhering to food safety laws and sanitation standards

  • Maintaining and sanitizing baking utensils, tools, implements and machinery

  • Working on your feet for 8 hours at a time

Qualified Bakers will have:

  • 1+ years of experience working in a high-volume bread, pastry, or banquet production kitchen; however, RavenHook is always willing to train an ambitious candidate

  • The ability to work well under minimal supervision with the ability to finish prep/baking needs in a timely manner

  • Availability to work weekends

  • Received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine; if a two-dose series, the second shot must be completed within three weeks of start date

  • The ability to lift, move, and handle materials up to 50 pounds

  • Familiarity with spiral mixers, bread shaping, proofing, and baking is a plus
