Artisan Bread Baker (full-time or part-time)
Seeking a self-motivated full-time baker who has experience working in a high-volume commercial kitchen. The ideal candidate will be team oriented, have a passion for baking handcrafted bread, and will be eager to learn more!
Responsibilities include:
Reading and following recipes to accurately measure and mix ingredients
Using weight measurement equipment accurately and consistently for the precise scaling of dough
Shaping and baking bread doughs, cookies, pies, pastries, and confections
Adhering to food safety laws and sanitation standards
Maintaining and sanitizing baking utensils, tools, implements and machinery
Working on your feet for 8 hours at a time
Qualified Bakers will have:
1+ years of experience working in a high-volume bread, pastry, or banquet production kitchen; however, RavenHook is always willing to train an ambitious candidate
The ability to work well under minimal supervision with the ability to finish prep/baking needs in a timely manner
Availability to work weekends
Received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine; if a two-dose series, the second shot must be completed within three weeks of start date
The ability to lift, move, and handle materials up to 50 pounds
Familiarity with spiral mixers, bread shaping, proofing, and baking is a plus
