In addition to fresh baked bread, our D.C. bakery also makes delicious seasonal sweets like cobblers, pies, scones, pound cakes, and cookies. We use as many locally sourced fruits and berries as we can! Check out our Partners Page for a full list of local farmers and producers we work with.
Sweets
BREAD PUDDING
We usually bring our classic bread pudding, baked with brandied mix fruit, to the market but around Valentine's Day and winter holidays we have Chocolate Cherry bread pudding. Available mostly in the colder months
COFFEE CAKES
Our Sour Cream Coffee cake is moist and topped with Cinnamon Struesel.
COOKIES
We bake delicious, chewy Classic Chocolate Chip and Snickerdoodle cookies that will remind you of your childhood. We also have a vegan option! Our Procrastination cookie is 100% egg and dairy free.
CORNBREAD
Our traditional country cornbread is not too sweet and not too corny. We also make a version with Jalapenos and Cheddar.
ENGLISH SCONES
We make traditional English buttermilk scones with very little sugar. We offer lemon ginger and sour cherry flavors. We’re now making our scones with flour locally grown and milled at Grapewood Farm in Virginia’s historic Northern Neck.
MACAROONS
Our coconut chocolate chip cookies are always a hit. Bonus: they’re gluten free!
SEASONAL COBBLERS
Our seasonal cobblers feature fresh fruit from local farms. Our flavors rotate between strawberry rhubarb, peach, apple, apple rhubarb, blueberry and more.
SEASONAL JAM BARS
Our seasonal jam bars feature a shortbread cookie base and seasonal jam flavors like raspberry and apricot. We also bake a buttery pecan bar.
TEA BREADS AND POUND CAKES
Our tea breads and pound cakes rotate with the season. Flavors include: banana-nut, zucchini-nut, lemon-blueberry pound cake, pumpkin spice cake, apple walnut cake, orange-chocolate chip, chocolate pound cake, lemon poppyseed, cranberry-orange, and Carrot Cake (vegan).
